I won't, I won't, [Bokuto answers in sing song voice and heads over to the fridge immediately. He doesn't want to risk the cake's health any further.

He drops on the couch afterwards-] Jeez Tsukki, give me a second to breathe. I keep going back and forth! [He grins-] How was your day?

This is why you're my best friend. And in the event of zombies, I will gladly take up a cricket bat to defend you against the shambling undead. Assuming we can find a cricket bat.

[ tsukishima's resigned to the nickname, at least partially, though he kicks bokuto lightly in the shin as he sits down. ]

Better than yours. Do I know the people who are trying to corner you into a threesome?

[Bokuto grins and kicks him back playfully. Don't start things if you can't follow them through Tsukki. You know how playful he is.]

Naah. But apparently Kuroo told them I'm "open minded" so they took his word to heart.

[ tsukishima thinks he should probably be happier in reaction to bokuto going out and buying the cake for him, but all he can think is, bokuto-san is an idiot. but it's mostly in fond exasperation. mostly.

so he doesn't kick bokuto back. ]

Then Kuroo-san can make it up to you by pretending to be your boyfriend.

[Bokuto groaned loudly and wanted to fling himself at Tsukishima to hug him and beg him, but stopped himself midway and just buried hands in the couch pillows beneath them. He's learning on restraining himself, aren't you proud of him?]

HE is the reason I'm in this mess! HE will make things WORSE! I KNOW he will! He'll say: "I'LL HELP YOU" and then when we arrive there he'll tell them: "WE'RE HERE FOR FOURSOME"!

[He clasped his hands in pleading sign-] Please Tsukki, only you can help me!

[ that sounds likely, honestly. tsukishima huffs and crosses his arms. ]

You don't know these people very well, right? You won't see them again?

[Saved! Very much saved! He's on his feet seconds after Tsukishima got up and headed for the door, pulling shoes on as he went-]

[ tsukishima bends down to put his shoes on, patting himself down absentmindedly to make sure he has his phone and wallet, if only for his bus pass. ]

I measured it while I was waiting for you. And most doors are a standard size in residential buildings.

[ he gives the hole in the door a last tired look. ]

Let's try to find one that looks closest to the old one.

[Bokuto grabs jacket he dumped by the door earlier and pulls it on.]

Ooh! Good thinking. [But he makes a face-] Ordinary? Plain like this?

[He crosses arms while marching outside-] Can't we get a bit... you know [-lots of hand waving-] pretty ones? Like- with picture of owl on them?! Or to have a print "We're OWLways here for you" as greeting or something?

[midblock]

They don't make doors like that.

[ he's pretty sure, anyway. ]

We don't want the landlord to notice, remember? And I'm not 'always" here. Neither are you.

I pray for Tsukki's sanity daily

You think? Maaan, too bad. They'd be so pretty.

[He locks the door but frowns, wondering if there's any point to it because of the hole in it.]

So what if he notices? I broke it, I replaced it! Hell, I'm buying him NEW door! This one started to get moldy on the edges. He should be thanking me!

i mean if he's rooming with bokuto he's already made a mistake

[ tsukishima sighs. ]

[Bokuto grumbles and shoves hands in the pockets of his jeans. Yes, he's read the contract but didn't really remember it. He summed it up in one "don't set house on fire" sentence so he thought he was fine as long as nothing's burning.]

Yeah.. You're right. As always. [More pouting and heavy huffing as they walk towards bus station-] Can't wait to have my own place. It will have a Jacuzzi and big crystal thing with water lights in it and big couches and owl designs EVERYWHERE!

[ rohan is, in fact, wildly hungover even though he'd only had wine. he's dressed in casual clothing (by his standards), hair mostly unstyled and leaning against the inside of his doorway when giorno arrives. ]
