Yeah, but after that? We're not going to go to bed at 9pm, are we?

[Tsukishima shouldn't be surprised by anything Bokuto does at this point.]

Like, watch a movie for example. Or play video games!

[They decided not to go to the game so the evening feels a bit too empty for him. Stuff needs to happen! He's not 'a chill night with book' type of guy.]

What movie were you thinking?

[ a movie sounds... less stressful than video games. video games with bokuto tends to lead to screaming and fighting. ]

[Tsukishima should be honest with himself and admit that competitiveness gets to him as well when they play games.

But movies sounds great!]

Hmm... what about Conjuring 2? I heard it's great!

[midblock]

Isn't that a scary movie?

[ tsukishima doesn't mind scary movies. does he want to watch it tonight, though? despite his best efforts, he sometimes gets too spooked from watching them, which is embarrassing, so he tries not to watch them too often. ]

[horned_owl]

It is! I saw the reviews, they say it's THE best horror movie of the year, scarier than the first one!

[There's nothing to be embarrassed about. Bokuto gets spooked from scary movies all the time but for some reason, he still likes them.]

[midblock]

...okay. [ somehow he keeps giving in to bokuto, it seems. tsukishima's quiet until they're back to their apartment. he looks at the hole in the door and shakes his head again before they head to the kitchen. ]

I need a drink. [ before bokuto can say anything: ] You're limited to five.

[horned_owl]

[Bokuto doesn't even glance twice at the hole, now that they had ordered a new door. The hole will be gone tomorrow, there's nothing to worry about.]

What? WHY only five? [Of course he'll protest. He kicks off his shoes and shuffles into the kitchen after Tsukishima.]...I want a beer. That won't get me drunk. [For some weird reason, beer can't get him drunk. Only harder stuff, like vodka.]

[midblock]

Because you broke the door last time you were drunk, Bokuto-san.

[ and a beer still counts as a drink, by the way. tsukishima opens the fridge and starts taking out leftovers before grabbing two beers, one for each of them. ]

I'm not going to get THAT drunk from five beers. If it was vodka, on the other hand, then I'd listen to you.

[He says thanks when Tsukishima passes him a beer and then opens the bottles for both of them.]

I'm gonna go set up the movie while you heat that up!

[midblock]

I'm still limiting you.

[ tsukishima nods acknowledgment and gets started with the leftovers. he puts them into bowls, for good measure, and brings them over in front of the TV for them. ]

I accept the limitation on every day but Friday and Saturday.

[Look who's trying to look smart and try to wriggle out of the rule.]

[midblock]

The limit applies whenever I say so and you're in my presence.

[ he really doesn't expect to be able to control bokuto if he's out of sight. ]

...or just for tonight. I don't want to get trashed.

[horned_owl]

Okay, okay! I won't get drunk at our place again.

[He gets bowl that Tsukishima brought for him with confident smile.]

I'll go to Kuroo's and trash his place. He still didn't pay us for emptying our fridge last time.

[midblock]

Sounds good to me.

[ he might even help, after enough hard liquor. tsukishima takes his own food and kicks back on the couch, finally relaxing as he gets ready to watch a movie that will almost definitely give him nightmares.

bokuto is a bad influence on him, he decides privately, but he doesn't move to do anything about it. ]

[horned_owl]

[Bokuto would love to have some help. Especially if it's Tsukishima- he's usually all proper and nice and not wild. So seeing him go off the hook- it's an experience one can't forget.]

Wanna join me?

[Bokuto is good influence when he's not doing stupid things.]

[midblock]

Maybe. What's in it for me?

[ tsukishima looks at him with his eyebrows raised. ]

[horned_owl]

We'll raid the fridge together and split the catch. You take the sweets and candy, I take the other... stuff. [Pause] Except fish. No one wants fish. We leave the cat fish.

[midblock]

Crows eat fish too.

[ crows will eat anything. ]

So you just want to empty out his fridge?

[horned_owl]

Well... [Bokuto gives Tsukishima a look] at first, yes. But when you ask me something like that I start to second guess myself.

[There's a mischevious spark in his eyes-] Do you want to do more than just empty his fridge?

[midblock]

[ hmm... ]

TP'ing's sort of juvenile, isn't it?

[horned_owl]

[Bokuto laughs-] Well, we are emptying his fridge, so not really! I'm in!

[midblock]

Okay.

[ to make it seem like a better idea, tsukishima takes another long pull of his drink. he's started the movie, which encourages that. ]
