[ Morina is some upstart, some new witch trying to force her way into their territory.
They won't let it happen.
Kanda is armed, standing by the back door from where they'll exit to meet her in the parking lot. ]
Are we killing her?

[ regulars and online customers aside, his shop doesn't receive that much traffic. and honestly, kanda likes it that way. filling bulk orders doesn't require particular effort on his part, and it's cathartic, arranging the shitty choices of people who don't know anything about flowers into something halfway decent. regulars just have to be efficient with their orders and not try any smalltalk, and they get along fine. sort of.
but the fact of the matter is, kanda spends most of his days at work and only seeing a new face when they pass by or drop in for a bouquet of roses. fucking roses, like that's even romantic anymore.
and this quiet suits kanda. on a bright friday morning, just past the morning rush hour, he's setting up a display of hellebore, anemones, and irises on the small table outside that is not for customers to sit at, thank you. the lingering scent of morning dew is comforting. ]
